Saw what you posted and I thought 'twas brilliant. Reminds me of works by Dave McKean, pre-computer era, where he'd use photos and color xerography for most of his works.
Struck to make me recall the pencil-sketched (no ink overlays) issues for the Sandman (DC Vertigo) series (issues 70-73) where larger-than-life angel-winged hooded creatures were featured in Destiny's garden. But these issues were already within the computer era. Still Dave McKean's, nonetheless.
