If you buy a used BlackBerry is the handset unable to use BB connect as the pin will have previously been registered to the former owner?

the pin is unique to the handset and will be unlatched from the network when the user registers another BB or closes their account or simply requests it unlatched.

EDIT: I just reread what you typed. You're CORRECT when the ORIGINAL owner of the BB registers a new unit the previous PIN is freed. Just make sure the previous unit is not still enabled with a BES Policy.

A good friend of mine recently moved from his N95-1 to a BB Curve 8310 and must say its a great looking phone, UI is very easy to work with, typing a text is good on the qwerty keyboard although im not a fan of it and it's not bad at all at Multimedia, great job by BB , i wouldn't get one though, just not what i need right now.

Ok guys BB talk is making me dizzy need some advise I want to pick up a BB later today doesn't matter which network really want to spend about £40/month max incl of voice and text (ideally unlimited) saw some good deals from orange and 02 on an 8310 or 8320 but I hear the wifi makes no real difference on the 8320 for browsing pretty slow due to whatever the reason was

In an ideal world 3G would be lovely but the only 3G version I saw was some old version on Vodafone or so I was led to believe.

Anyway guys thanks for the help.
