@mizzle

"Also, as you might have noticed, Microsoft has yet to announce the OS, and everything else is done on the phone. SE has pretty finished up their touch on the OS, the hardware is pretty much done as well, with a few exceptions like the battery, so all that's needed is for Microsoft to announce it and finish it."

is this official or u just heard around at your insiders?

@Boba

Is that even a serious question? Obviously, every one should know the answer to that.

@ mizzle You said:

I've always thought to delay somethig was "to cause to be later or slower than expected or desired".

So yes it is delayed, as it should already be in my pocket!

Boba,

What did you find not being finished or very close to being finished, apart from the software?

my point is, that all i saw mostly the same desktop pix, nothing more. it do reminds me on quartz for example, but it was more or less working. ot the other :: protos. how can se say, that the hw is ready, if they didnt even had the chance to test it with the os? then what do they test and how?

Trust me, they've done lots and lots of tests with the hardware. The public has only been allowed to see a percentage of the phone, and only parts of the XPERIA panels.

its not the qusetion of trust, more of i am curious... why dont they show more? and again, how are they able to test the hw, if there is no fw/os? or they tested it with wm6? if yes, that doesnt mean, thatwm7 will run smooth aswell. its sg really new, more os in one device. so the hw has to be tested really hard, otherwise se will stay there really stupid at the ned, if the hw/fw wont work fine together

Tell me, why should they publicly showcase an operating system that has yet to be announced????

i get your point, but for god sake, why not to launch it with wm6 then? just imagine, they would have released it now, then lets say soon p5, that would hve been a big step for se, cos nokia is coming and coming every month with new smartfone. lets say its microsofts fault and they agreed with se, that wm7 will be out sooner, se is waiting and waiting... microsoft dont gives a rotten shit of se, only cos of one device, thye wont hurry up. if it would be for htc and they wait with 6 or more newdevices, thats another story. htc is good money for ms, xperia is just one device...
