The 8.1 mpx phone looks like a combination between X1 and C905
, would be nice is SE brings at least a couple of their phones to the rest of the world.

SE instead of making phones that look exacly like a digital camara should actually make phones that can take photos like one! Not that the other brands like nokia or samsung are better (they are not but at least i think they dont do this). The point is even a 3or4mp with 5 years old cybershoot camara takes much much better photos than all 5mp and even 8mp phones. I dont want a phone with a camara look, all that smile, blinking etc detection , cybershoot , carl zeiss or what so ever branding crap... It makes people believe that take better quality photos than the others but is all the same thing. The only thing i have to admit that is very useful is the geotagging(at least on nokia works very well integrated with nokia maps). My wish is that someday they put some 4 or 5mp cybershoot real digital camara lens in their phones... a think it will make all phone users happy

I take it we will soon be seeing phones featuring the new A300 UI. According to the article over at
Smape.com, we will see the new version of this UI at the beginning of 2009, which I am assuming is MWC.
Can't wait if this is so, I'm a great fan of A200 (A2).

Motorola ZN5 takes really quality pics...
And C905 and INNOV8 aren't bad either. I compared C905 with a Samsung digicam (i8) and it did a good job. You can check the pics here:

Hope to see some cool phones at MWC, but if you say that A300 will make a public appearance at the begining of 09 then probably most of SE phones from the MWC will probably be non-smartphones ,I personally hoped to see some cool high-end smartphones from SE but could leave with a nice non-os phone

I totally agree with you... in addition I am waiting the vivid colors known from Sony cameras too.

How much better can A3 be than A2? There is the limit of non-touch interface to start and also, you couldn't add many more buttons so I think it will be more eye candy than anything else.
I'm more interested in an Xperia without WinMo or a nice new WinMo. I really need a smartphone for work or even better, a Walkman smartphone (proper W960 successor).
I've heard good things are coming from
but, even better from Nokia and HTC. The
version of Symbian still sounds the best to me i.e. like UIQ so its something i'm used to. Lets hope there are quick releases and drool inducing innovation.

Both of you haven't seen pictures from the SO905iCS. I believed it too had the Alpha camera sensors too. Again, Japanese had the best.
