nope, I didn't noticed problems with autofocus... yet? will see
Gam3Ra and I saying about focus infinity only. when is selected then you can't lock auto exposure (AE) in darker/brighter point and then point camera to brighter/darker point without loss of locked exposure. this feature is very important in panorama shots - the same exposure ("brightness") on all pictures is necessary
chuotiutho
ehehe

this time without so huge blow as it was for K800

@Raiderski
Which software version, and "prg" number has the C901 you tryed?
Mine has problems with focusing, and as I remeber with previous firmware it was precise. I thought many time that something is broken (so it could be hardware related), but as i tryed many times in some situations in sports mode focusing is nearly perfect, sometimes the document mode helps, sometimes the only way to get a better shot is by setting infinite focus. Yesterday I've tryed in a situation to take a photo, and with sports mode almost all the time focusing was precise, but with auto, and even document mode was almost impossible to get a well-focused picture (I'll post those pictures). So it should demonstrate that it's software related, and something isn't well optimised. As I see when the phone is focusing, it goes throgh the right point, when the picture would be sharp, but it doesn't stops there, it focuses to a closer distance. Plus, those who experienced the same problem say that with modded driver manual focus works well (so the hardware should be ok).
I really hope that an update will fix it, because it has a really good camera. Sadly after my K750 neither the K850 nor the C901 can satisfy me. The K850's blurry pictures, and pinkish red coluors, and then the C901's focusing problem annoys me (which I remember so, I haven't had with previous software).

trust me, last time ago i have this problems too, but now they fix themselves (still in same firmware). i didn't know whats the source of problems. i also try PM raiderski to check the camdriver, and he said no problems with the camdriver.

i didnt have any problem with focusing too. I think blurry picture or out of focusing are made by shutter shake.

I don't know what causes it, but I think something else than the camdriver, because it's the same in my previous and present software. I've written once that -I don't remember which one- Motorola had problems with focusing, the phone done wrong the focusing process on several dates, and had no problem on the other days. In the case of C901 it could be related to software version or prg number, or both, because with R1EA033, prg1225-4901_APAC_FI it worked well, then with R1GA028, prg1212-2029_GENERIC_FI I have the problems. It may be related with a certain setting too, which interacts that way (like the date in the case of the Motorola), that focusing isn't optimal (and this would happen just with a certain software version???). So many things can cause it, but if the hardware is ok, it can be just a bug.
And yes, it's hard to keep still, but almost everyday I test the phones focusing to find out what's wrong with it, and not that causes the wrong focusing.

I think the followong is a good example that bugs how strange can act:
When I had my T300 and T310 both phones had frozen after few seconds when I hadn't had network signal and I started sound recording.
So many variables are in a phone's software and some of them interact in a special way, so the phone can act strange in the most unexpected situations.
We just don't know what determines the focusing problem, but some of us experienced it. (Just like the BROD at K850, some of us have never expereinced it, but it was a threatening however.)
And I would add, that if my C901's focusing would work as good as when I boght it, I would say too, that there is no problem with focusing, and it works well.
