I'll wait for GsmArena's review before I come to a conclusion. Didn't eldar promise a full blown review too? I've liked what I've seen, most of the camera shots are pretty good.

@ Karun
I agree that most of the camera sots are good. Nobody will look at the pictures at full size and a lot of people are starting to compare cell phone cameras to DSLR cameras. No point in doing that.

@Dacha

Precisely. Its not good enough to compete with a DSLR but the point is, its not meant to. Smartphone cameras are more apt for casual photography. The Z is actually very good in low light, particularly loved the night shot someone posted a few pages back.

Dacha, looking at the pictures full size/magnified allows to see the true quality of the camera. And that camera is one of Sony's main selling points. Moreover, some Xperia Z shots are 4 MB in size, so I expected sth. better.

Damn, the Xperia Z whupped ass there for both the low light performance, clarity and audio. The Nexus 4 sounded horrible, like it was underwater.

Of course the HDR function didn't really produce desirable results at night, but it's not really meant for this type of situation anyways.
