The M4 Aqua is an interesting device and could do very well if it's priced right ie about £200-£230 would be more than acceptable for the spec you'd get. The equivalent Samsung is the A5 and that is priced at around £280-£300.

Thanks to MediaTek that encourage competitive environment in mobile chipset, otherwise we would stuck with aged-slowly processing power of Cortex-A5 from Qualcomm in starter-tier, which something like deadwood of out the box.

I see and play several MediaTek devices on shelves, even starter-tier chipset it has reasonable well response when working together with Android 4.3 / 4.4, but it could be for light-weight user, I don't have an idea if it fully-loaded apps will affect overall performance.

I still hope Sony will introduce bridge gap model with MediaTek 64bit chipset in Barcelona while we awaiting Snapdragon-flagship later this year.

I saw a prototype dummy recently, it looks nothing like a finished product so I'd say a very early shell. It was light so I imagine it's got nothing inside. It had the current omni-balance design, more Xperia Z1 overall with camera position and what not. The thing that caught my eye was that the front and back glass was reflective and by that I mean like the screen on the old LG Shine which is basically a mirror but not as silvery, it was more of a black/blue tint yet very reflective. I couldn't see any screen bezels so I assume that it didn't have one because there was no upper border at all. I thought it looked nice but it really depends on the colour and reflectiveness. The link is of an iPhone with a similar look.

@badassmam
I suppose you mean like this metal frame render shininess?

Kind of except the frame was not shiny, not as curved either. It was mainly the front and back panels that were reflective.

@badassmam
Does that mean we won't be seeing the Z4 anytime soon?

He said

So the final should be very different than what he saw, but the main outlines should be similar.

What I saw may have nothing to do with the Z4, just some test designs which could easily be a year old. I was interested in the mirror design which may have something to do with the Sony leaks from a few months back. Anyway, I was there for the e-ink stuff....not allowed to say much more but if you think back to the Sony e-ink watch, think of the possibilities of putting information on the bendy watch strap. I'm not saying that there's an e-ink smartwatch set for MWC, other Sony departments are testing this too because Sony sells an e-book reader, they also have this ultra thin e-ink notepad that comes with a stylus - that's a really cool device. I've seen and heard nothing regarding MWC, my friend was talking about job security more than anything.

Then the mirrored concept photo with rectangular design leaked in Bond hack is kind of legit.
