@ ZeaLoTNYC :

Surely, getting your hands on the K750i will not get you productive again.
Don't you think you'll be spending quite alot of time fooling around with the phone?

It is Qcif and no they made no mistake.

K750 records in Qcif 3gp which is standard 3gp format for the purpose of sharing via mms with other handsets that also supports this standard. This was the idea of having videorecording in phones

D600 records in nonstandard CIF motionjpeg which cannot be shared with other handsets. This was not the idea of having videorecording in phones.

Videorecording in phones were not ment as replacement for a videocam, allthough development may make them better and better in that department also.

I dont understand why you constantly have to pick out single details from all kinds of phones and compare them in that way. Like when you thought it was a big mistake it didnt have Qvga screen.

K750, allthough nice, is a midrange phone, at a midrange price.
It was not designed to be the best phone in the world in every litle detail you can come up with from other phones you compare it with.
It was designed to be a compact phone in a nice package with a broad suite of good functions, at an AFFORDABLE cost. It was not designed to have the biggest Qvga display, the best videocam, the most memory etc. etc.
It was not designed to be the best phone in the world ending all competition for ever.

If it were you would not have had the money to buy it.

I dont understand why we have to compare specific small detail with every handset in the world all the time, phones are different and compete in all kinds of different segments, smartphones/non smartphones, high end/midrange/low end etc. etc.

Evaluate the phone you are interested in, at the cost you can afford, if you think you get your moneys worh, thats good, if not look at something else. But you will never find a phone at a reasonable cost that will be best at everything.

Too true! Video is actually crap on phones, its all about sending certain videos to other people.

It is now may... any day now and we could have a review from a member on esato.

Yup, and in general you can only send about 10 seconds of video per mms so, if the resolution were higher, you'd only be able to film for a second or two.

I find Yanosh94's extreme nit-picking quite entertaining, i would never have thought about every picture in a theme being animated (because its not needed).

Imagine it now, a psychedelic trippy popup screen and status bar !

It's like mega pixel picture you can't send it but you can print it and save it in your computer so if i want a cif recorder it's for save it in my computer and look with my friends a normal size instead of a little size

I can understand that Yanosh94, and for that purpose the D600 and the N90 will of cource be better with its CIF recording.
Its still not anything special though, in order to be even halfdescent for that purpose it needs to record atleast in 640x480 VGA 25 fps, with low compression.
For that you need a stronger cpu, and alot more memory on the phones.
