Awfully quiet around here today, hope it's not as a result of the cricket...and why haven't I seen 786KBR on here crowing about his "team" and their awesome batting?
Back to phone related issues, one thing I love about my phone is the ability it has to store almost 700 messages...that's about as much as I've had on my phone before I got the flashing envelope telling me to clear the memory.

Dammit, I've got a cold.. and the braaing in the cold Saturday night air didn't help matters. Eish, better take the cold n' flu capsules again...
I've downloaded quite a few games for the N73, and Ducati 3D Experience and Sky Force Reloaded are my two current faves.
Cellphone arcade-type shoot-em-ups like Sky Force Reloaded and Siberian Strike remind me of my high school days, when we used to hang out in the corner shop before school and play classic arcade games like Xevious, Moon Patrol, Raiden, Time Pilot etc. Never bothered with Pac-Man though.
I can still recall the smell of the shop, maybe it was the incense...
Sigh, cellphone games have come a long way...

Yeah, i grew up with street fighter 2, bubble bobble, snow brothers, and a few others. Sf2 and snow bros being my 20(later 50)c eaters. I got all of these on my phone now:) sf2 is just not the same on a phone, i eventually did all 100 levels of bubble bobble on my phone, and snow brothers is in chinese, so no fun as it should be, but it is not bad on my phone. Oh the old days:) oh, never mind tetris which i have always had on my phones that could handle games:) i have an odd taste in games. I like rpg the most, and have found a couple of great games. More on good games later. Sleepy time!

@da wanqsta: I remember Moon Patrol and Time Pilot. Back in the day my 20c coins were chowed by games like the first Street Fighter and classics like Centrepede, Silk Worm and Galaga.

@ da brixsta,
Those arcade titles bring back so many memories. I remember as a young lighty being tuned by the old lady for spending a whole Rand on 5 games (while she did the grocery shopping in Pick n' Pay), which also included the non-colour Asteroids game (it bored me somewhat compared to some of the newer ones that were around).
@ Kryptik,
LOL! I read that out to the mrs and we had a good laugh.
Jeremy Mansfield concocted a song by the same title, which is available on his 'Raw' CD.
If anyone's interested downloading the 3.5-odd meg song, here's the link via rapidshare:

@Amawanga after checking a few newer phones I decided to 'try' the N73 for the next year or so. Actually it will be my wife's phone, but if the N95 does not live up to my expectations I might hold on the N73. Now I am quite happy with the N70, but the N73 will come basically for 'free' (my wife's work contract). Do you think is it worth it to go from a N70 to a 73 or should I advise her to wait another 6 or so months with the upgrade and get the 95?
