@ Mario,
As regards the N73, I can't fault it too much; although I've had to give it 2 'reboots' over this past week after it battled to connect with the PC's Bluetooth dongle this past week. This sorted the issue out. I was doing a helluva lot of data transferring without rebooting the phone at all until then, so not too surprising perhaps...
The list of 9.1 applications is increasing almost daily as I'm sure you are aware.
Now I have no personal experience with the N70, so I couldn't make a fair comment when comparing the 2 handsets. I wouldn't know if the OS's speed is at all different with the new version etc etc.

It's impossible to predict how stable/ good the N95 is going to be at this stage, taking into account prototypes that Eldar et al have been fiddling with too (perhaps if celltech is reading this, he could give us a bit more insight).
However, if it is everything that it is hyped to be, I'd wait the extra 6 months or so and get the phone that you really do want, particularly with its all-important integrated GPS etc.

I'm sure Nokia will do whatever to try and ensure that it does what it says on the tin, but obviously there are many new components on this flagship Nokia, so although it's being currently rigorously tested and put through its paces prior to market availability, who knows over time...

If it really goes all pear-shaped with the N95 which seems unlikely, then you can always get the N73 in 6 months' time.

I don't think that you would be disappointed with the N73, but as I mentioned, if I was you, I'd wait the 6 months or so and see how the N95 delivers, then you've also got more 'concrete', substantiated opinions of the N95's abilities to piss off the fanboys with.

I haven't mentioned the sublime N73's camera, as if memory serves me correctly, this is not higher up the pecking order, as regards features, for you. As it is at the moment, I'm very impressed with the N73's camera hardware and software.

Sorry it's not a very thorough comparison, but I hope this helps.

As for me, UIQ remains my firm favourite, and I look forward to seeing what smartphones are launched this year, hopefully leagues better than the disappointing P990i...
A decent mp camera-equipped M600-type handset would do fit the bill for me.

You wanna swap a good few rays of warm sunshine for a few cold fronts that arrived here late last night from the north?
Time to get a willy warmer out...

Taken at about 7am this morning:

A very belated birthday greeting to you for last Tuesday!
Oh well, rather late than never I suppose.

Hope you had a brilliant one, boet.
