If you look at the G phones they have a decent camera, Walkman player, touchscreen, nice design and are small. That is good progress and and pretty much what people have been dreaming of, yet people are still unhappy.
A lot of upset people here when nobody knows what is being announced at the end of the month. Sounds like PK has 4 high-end prototypes, all very secret except for Paris.
Let the announcement happen and see the phones first. Also, SE is a business like any other so profit is their priority and if mid-end phones keep SE going so be it. They cannot keep making high-end phones and just look at the other companies, its not like they have a huge range of high-end devices.
You need to appreciate that running a huge global business is tough and the overall market is not for high-end phones, instead it is the mid-end phones. I prefer that they produce decent phones rather than really expensive Nokia Luna and Arte type phones that are not so hot.

Totally agree Badassmam, how ever the G700 and G900 came about they are going to sell a lot more then Paris will. Just look at Samsung and LG, they have hardly any smartphones in there ranges, there main business is mid end stuff or high end non smartphones.

These promotional videos is something SE is really good at.
Frankly I fall in love with any device featured in those videos. It Cools us down a bit from dissapointment about paris.
