Damn... Engadgets early review of the Duo 13 has me salivating. It's resolved pretty much all of my issues with the Duo 11 and is VERY tempting, even though it has a price point about 3x that of the Tablet Z.

Gonna have to think looooong and hard about this one.

Heh, I would if I could. See I really like the Tablet Z, but then I feel a lot of what I get out of it will be duplicated by getting Honami. And while it has its faults, I do still have my Tablet S which can pretty much do whatever the Z can do, just that it's clunky and ugly

The Duo 13 though, that's a completely different beast. It's got the much larger screen, triluminos tech for OLED-level colours, Engadget has so far tested over 11 hours battery life - and that's WITHOUT the optional sheet battery. It's got the stylus which I love the idea of, far larger base storage with the option for larger capacities, full size SD card, full size USB and HDMI ports and the keyboard. It's also got an Exmor RS camera, and from the 1 pic I saw so far, it seems superior to the shooter in the Tab Z. Yeah it's 3x thicker and nearly 3x as heavy, but... DAMN it's a beautiful device.

I'm likely not going to jump on it right away and wait for reviews of final production models plus a chance to test it myself in stores, but Duo 13 + sheet battery is something I'm salivating over Sony's gonna make me go broke this year So far for this year alone I've already invested in the RX100 camera, the 50" R550A Bravia, the SRSBTX500 bluetooth speaker. *sigh* It's bittersweet being a Sony nut

Sony imo has killed the VAIO line! How many people need this kind of battery life, which sacrifices performance! They've replaced the S series with the Pro!? What a joke! I may take my laptop places but at 90% of those places I can find a socket to plug it in. It seems to me only the Xperia, Playstation and perhaps the Bravia brands are being focused on this year. The rest have either been cut down, discontinued or being worked on for next year.

Umm dude? They didn't replace the S series with the Pro by any means. The pro is basically the continuation of the Z series of VAIOs which was discontinued last year.

Also, I find it utterly hilarious that you're pissed off BECAUSE IT HAS A VERY LONG BATTERY LIFE! I mean, holy crap man, there are many things to complain about in this world, but one of the biggest selling features is NOT one of them.
