C905 gives better color but the INNOV8 handles noise better.

Both of you haven't seen pictures from the SO905iCS. I believed it too had the Alpha camera sensors too. Again, Japanese had the best.
There are samples available in the
Gallery and to me these look very similar to K850 or C902 shots. I think the problem is that the sensor in the SO905iCS is too small to make any real difference in photo quality. EXMOR makes more sense at the sizes used in dSLR cameras.

Can't agree more. But INNOV8's price is way outta my budget...

I had it for a week or two and my shots came out pretty nice. But then again yeah I've been doing a lot of macro.
The optical zoom makes life much easier too =P

How much better can A3 be than A2? There is the limit of non-touch interface to start and also, you couldn't add many more buttons so I think it will be more eye candy than anything else.

The interface is good enough but the visuals are erverything but not eye candy. That's what I mainly expect from A300 -> Style & Customize-functions.

It isn't INNOV8 which I compared with C905, it's Samsung i8 (digicam, not phone)

That would explain why the Samsung photos were *extra* noise-free
Still, my impression of the INNOV8 is the same. It handles noise better while the C905 is better on color and saturation.
For example in
this image from
PhoneArena's Q4 2008 phone camera review. Notice how the color and saturation in C905 crop is about the same as in the SD870 crop (SD870 = Canon SD870 digital camera), while the noise in the INNOV8 crop is about the same as the SD870's.

That's true, but as a reaction to "The point is even a 3or4mp with 5 years old cybershoot camara takes much much better photos than all 5mp and even 8mp phones" it doesn't make any sense to compare two camphones
