An android walkman is what I've been waiting for all along. Hope it turns out to be what I want....
Came across this article. Don't know how reliable it is though.
Sony Ericsson are due to be announcing a mobile phone very soon, which will straight away become the flagship of the Walkman range. There are no official details on it yet, no model number, and not even a development codename, but if rumours are true, it’s easily going to go straight to the top of the mobile phones heap. It’s due to be a full touchscreen phone, and Sony Ericsson are all set to be cramming in 16Gb of memory. So, in essence, they’re making an iPhone-Killer, only Sony Ericsson will give it a better camera, faster internet, a design sleeker than any other mobile phones, and of course, that Walkman music player.

Sounds like a powerful device. There is a demand for high-end Walkman phones and with the Walkman heritage this could be one of the most monsterous of devices yet.

well, announce the phone so by october they can release it.
seriously, I love the walkman phones. My W980 and Aino are the best.
i hope for: at least 3.2 inches, Android 2.1, with clear bass/stereo/audio technology, DSP (like sony x-series walkman), wifi, 8mp cam with auto focus, smile shutter and face detection at 3.5mm jack...then im sold
