6GB of RAM does nothing for the OnePlus3, I don't see it blitzing any other flagship. Optimisation goes much further than pointlessly upping the specs, Xperia X is proof of that.
Its either Sony make fewer phones to save money and sell them high to get maximum profit or sell cheap and hope to sell loads. They can't sell loads, not going to happen so their strategy is alright for them. Price will go down as it always does.
I really miss my Z1 compact, using a Z3+ and it sucks in comparison. I really want a new Compact at IFA.

I'm completely aware of that. I wouldn't trade my Z5 for anything on market right now but Average joe(lol) goes for cheaper plus better(specs)

Honestly, I just want Sony to make a profit so that their mobile business continues. I don't care if they have a tiny market share as long as they survive, not interested in bragging rights or anything like that. I've only been able to use Sony and HTC phones happily, never had a Samsung for more than a week apart from the Note 4.
OnePlus3 has a budget price maybe because SD820 will be replaced by SD823 soon and despite the high specs, I can guarantee that it'll perform like a budget phone because they would have to cut costs somewhere. The Xperia X is a great all round experience, very well optimised and I bet it'll top DXO. Clove UK has S7 Edge at £598.80, X Performance at £549 and X at £459. Is that really unreasonable considering its as fast as the S7 in real world tests? After using the Z3+ I feel that the top end SD processors are poor, even S7 users have heat issues despite having the heat pipes and all, check on XDA. That makes the X a very compelling choice, I love the idea of an optimised user experience over raw power. For power users and d**k wavers there is the X Performance which will sell few and will forever be pitted against the other flagships, people will whinge, trolls will emerge and so on.
The Xperia X to me is a reincarnation of the Compact line, not exactly how I wanted it beacuase I want water resistance but it performs brilliantly in all departments and is in a mid to high end niche that performs as well as the flagships, just as the Compact did.

Esato was founded in the year 2001 and was mainly targeted at Sony Ericsson mobile phone users. We started with a couple of services offering free ringtones, grayscale logos for the Ericsson T39 and R520 models. We have expanded the service to include free color backgrounds for over 50 mobile phone models. Other popular services are the discussion forum for anyone interested in topics about mobile phones and accessories. Even if the focus was targeted at Sony Ericsson owners, we now have separate forums for owners of other brands. The most popular sections are the News, Blog, discussion forum, Free themes, free color backgrounds and a service where users can upload images from a PC and download a converted image down to their mobile phone.

For a company that makes the camera sensors in so many excellent smartphones, Sony is having a tough time with its own cameras. The one in the Xperia X is mediocre at best. - Most of the reviewers' experience with Xperia X.
So, whichever planet you're on right now, please get back to earth on your flying pig.
Xperia X according to most reviews has a better camera than the Z5 so it should get a better score which takes it almost on top. The question is if you trust DXO or not? I bet my flying pig that I'm correct.

DxOMark hailed the Xperia Z5 as the best smartphone shooter at the time of its release, when in fact it can't hold a candle to the likes of Galaxy S6, let alone Galaxy S7. That itself makes the site a joke and I highly doubt if anyone takes their reviews seriously apart from Sony fanboys.
I've checked the samples from Xperia X, and while it takes good pictures in perfect day light, the noise towards the edges tends to be too heavy and there's a huge loss of detail. In low light, it just sucks donkey balls.
People like you ( SAMSUCK) always take one side never people like you ( SHAMESUCK) complain about over sharping and to much colors and also noise problems.
SAMSUCK camera's always over react by people like you ( SHAMESUCK FANBOYS) complain about Sony and have the nerve to call Sony fanboys.
You silly poor man

I see good individual photographers giving positive reviews on XPERIA camera with their details and examples to demonstrate impressive results
I see bunch of people here giving lots of negative on XPERIA camera with nothing or only content from other people's review. nothing of their own as if they are just the relay dolls without reliable source
clearly shows what we can trust. no point in arguing
