@Big_D
Busted mine a few months ago. SE would have it fixed for a bomb of a price as they would replace the whole motherboard, standard procedure for the problem. Just go to a pda repair shop, I got my UsB port replaced for USD60+

@Falcon
Dualboot.Not that I know of.There is always the CM6 Froyo 2.2.1 by Wolfbreak or the FreeX10 2.2.1 by Z that both have working camera and video but at this stage with official Gingerbread been so close I can't see why you'd want to other than having a faster phone for a month.Its because of those 2.2.1 roms that I can't go back to stock SE 2.1.I'd rather have a really fast phone and carry my little Nikon around with me whenever I need to take photo or video.

Hey,

How much time does X10 take to charge from 0 to full 100 % via power mains? Because mine takes very long time to charge like almost 4 hours. Isn't it supposed to be 2 hours?

4hrs is a long time. Charging is much less. Dont forget the x10 cuts off the charge once its at 100% and kicks in again when it reaches 85%. Chances are you've missed it and the phones started to discharge. The led will still show green as well. Its jjust a matter of timing. Often i've woke up and checked both of mine and they've been on 95% as its cut the charge off.

either that or your usb or battery are on their way out.

My x10 is only 3weeks old. And the first time I put it for charge I left it over night and I think the battery was discharged and it again started charging. Left it as such till it reached 100%. Up till now I have charged battery 7 times. And each time it takes very long time to charge. I tried changing the charger too.i used my brother's zte blade charger and it still takes almost 4 hours to charge. Is there any problem with the battery? I am on.stock 2.1 Rom with the latest 2.1 update that was released only last month. Please help.

I just bought a Neo, but still hanging on to my Xperia x10. I really like the x10, and wants to fix it soon. Is there a D-I-Y guide to how to replace/solder a xperia x10 Usb connector? you can buy the part on ebay, and I sort of have a soldering tool. but I need a guide before I start doing it.

@Big_D where are you based? I would guess soldering it yourself might be quite difficult unless you're very experienced with a soldering iron and are confident you're not going to leave a short somewhere. You could take it down to your local mobile phone shop, in the UK they're everywhere. I wouldn't recommend you start taking apart your X10 yourself. You'll never get it back together just right (saying that a mobile repair shop won't always do a perfect job either). At least with the official SE route you'll pay more but you'll get a just like new phone back.
