Indeed! It's been a long and winding road but it's finally here. It should fly with ginge and it's also been confirmed that it will also keep the non-stock cam UI which is great.

Yes it will wipe all apps and user data. The stock backup and restore app wont be available either so it would be advised to find one off the android market before you do the update. This way everything can be backed up to the memory card and after updating all you should need to do is redownload the backup app and then use it to restore data,settings etc off the memory card.

It's meant to be only for Generic handsets
