i need your expert opinion. see, i have come down to three choices here: sony cybershot dsc-w1, nikon coolpix 5200 and canon powershot a95. prices are about the same but which one should i go for? i was told canon is the better one. what do u think?

i'll still prefer the w1.....check out the screen size man.....that blows the rest outta the water.....at 2.5", that's the largest among the 3
incidentally, you could do a comparison in
DPreview
apart from that, the canon rules in terms of specs. Its the heaviest tho
but again the availability of additional lens add on is a sure plus point.....that plus it offers aperture and shutter priority.....u need to consider that against its price...no doubt it'll be more expensive than the other two....
good luck and let us know which one u decide on.....or u cud go for a nikon d70
look up wong (junior) at selangor photographers in Pertama Complex.....run up there and basically play with all 3 models before u made a decision....the sony v1 is in fact a better model than the w1....

The P910i would be launched at RM2999. I estimate the P900 to drop to about RM 2299-RM2399. It's now about RM26xx.

i have my eye on canon to be honest. i dont mind the extra grams so long it performs to my expectations. and having used the a80 before i find that its quite easy to handle (for me at least). i would consider sony too, if i wasn't so concerned for its MemStick. anyway thanks a mill bro! i'll be sure to let u know in due time okie
