you are not understanding what he said...if he owns a company that has a VAT number, and buys the phone for his company, he can buy WITHOUT VAT...thats how...

28,000 was the least amount that they are expecting the product to hit once it gets released. But then again, nothing is so sure.
They are anticipating it to be around 40,000 maximum.

Php40k sounds about right... around Php36k is what I'm guessing.
So far,
stores here claim W960 official launch "MIGHT" be pushed back to January... gray market should get it a month before that if they're lucky... so that puts it around 1st week of Dec.

I'm guessing there will be no major difference between P1's touch screen and W960's. The fact that the stylus is plastic will just make it last longer due to it's flexibility. And for the "low build quality" you speak of is just nonsense unless you elaborate on what you mean.
What I think of this phone? Well, I think it will be the best phone out there. And I'm eagerly waiting to get my hands on one.

anybody have any idea if there will be a US version of this phone? I mean, seriously, if SE wants to increase market share, they need to make the high end phones FOR the US market. It's the biggest market in the world. If you're #1 in the US, you're most likely #1 or close to it in the world.
I for one would LOVE to get my hands on this phone. But, as it is, the price is not worth it. I would not be able to use the HSDPA and there isn't even EDGE!?
so i'd have a $600+ phone that's basically a fancy mp3 player with phone capability. I want a smartphone like this. But being in the US, it's features are almost worthless.

They delivered the P1i in August, and the W960 isn't THAT much of a difference than the P1i. It should have been out at roughly the same time.
I think they'll announce the P5i before even making the W960 available

As mentioned at least 50 times before: the expected release date for the W960 is during Q4 and NOTHING else. Lets talk about something constructive instead of just criticizing SE for not releasing the phone "in time" even though they have been straight with us the whole time.
