Thanks mate, I look forward to having a go at the 2009 thread. I'll get it looking nice like our first post hopefully.
Hey you might be right about all this successor talk. I mean, its not like Sony Ericsson themselves have come out and said "the W595 is the successor to the W580 and the C905 is the successor to the K850i and they're totally way better and you should buy them definitely." ...Yeah. We can only really rely on what the "experts" say. (And to be honest who really cares that much!

)
Also, with the iPod, I seem to remember that mass storage mode had to be enabled via iTunes. But its easy to do, there was a pretty obvious button on the screen where it shows a summary of your iPod's memory usage. I'm sure you can work it out!

Lol I think Vodafone are confused:
I'll take the bottom one!
But I guess it's good the W910i looks like it's selling. Also worth noting is that the K850i has disappeared from the store at the moment. It will be interesting to see whether it comes back, or whether they've given up on it. If they have given up then they're stupid. All they need to do is actually release the latest firmware so Vodafone phones can have it, rather than leaving their customers stuck on an older, buggy firmware.

Do we know that the Voda spec K850i's were buggy? Maybe the only had a small amont of them judging by how difficult it is to shift $700+ SE phone that people percieve lack features... Ceratinly thin phones like the C902 add something new and appealing to the marketplace.
Without the big screens and wifi, SE phones won't attract the small enthusiast market in NZ meaning they can only sell mid-range products at parallel imported prices.

Apparently frankthetank's K850i was buggy at least before he updated it. I would assume not everyone will know to update it though.
Yeah you're probably right though, they probably only ordered a small shipment.

Went into a few mobile stores today and I saw a couple of dummies for the C702 and G502. The C902 is apparently on its way for $900 (Ha! I spent under $700 on mine!).
Anyway, the C702 dummies are awful. Like bad plastic, bad camera cover slider and they just generally look like a cheap kids toy. I hope people ask to see the real thing before buying! One thing I did like were the colours. I don't know whether the colours on the dummies are realistic, but the silver on black looked a lot darker than in official pictures, which in my opinion suits the phone better.
The G502s look really nice! I saw both a black and a silver dummy and it looks quality! Nice design, nice materials and nice colours. Plus it's tiny! I expect it to sell well just cause people love small things (That's not what she said...).

The C702s are exactly that colour and actually feel better than the dummies. The G502s are way cool and feel great to hold, like the c902. Where I work, they decided to to release the C702 due to its build quality! (where as I say it is better build than the dummy, its only a tad better)Nevermind. Not missing much really. Haha

Apparently the C702s aren't actually all that great and the paint wears off easy. I'm glad I decided on the C902 in the end and didn't go for the C702. I'm really happy with my choice! So where are you working over there JiSm?
