This ‘p’ means pause.
Pause can be attained by pressing * key longer until ‘p’ appears.
If, for example, I wanted to call John Smith who works on extension 4321 at work, I would dial:
+112222333333p4321
The p would insert a pause, then the remaining 4 digits (his extension) would automatically be dialled after the pause.
A "w" does something similar, but requires user interaction to complete the dialling of the extension. ("p" stands for "pause", "w" stands for "wait").

The p is to input a pause. Like if the phone number has an extension like 1-800-111-1111 ext 1234 you can put it in the phone 18001111111p1234 to dial that extension automaticall. Very important for people for contacting people at corporations as many do the extensions.

my friend's k850 wont update firmware through SEUS, his firmware is R1CA037, and when i try to update it, it says something like "no new updates" or "no updates available". What's wrong?
