@arnold: steel on steel. Quartz. Also, forgot to mention ladies pa la. Sorry about that. It's actually a friend who's in need of cash. I have one but I'm not ready to part with it.

@arnold/bonito/dlreyes: Need advice on a watch for my wife. She wants something she can use that's very casual. She basically wants a black rubber strapped steel case with a black face. Also she has a small wrist. She doesn't like the Casio/Nike/Umbro/Technomarine types. Initially looking at the Oris Big Crown Divers for her, but I can't find it anywhere, here or abroad. Any suggestions?

@Chito: sorry. don't think I have anything to match up for your Omega. I'm after old ones to be restored, but of course on a shoestring budget I go for oddball watches too! Russian watches and some LED 70's watches.

@MFB- I'm sure you can handle the Omega expense. after all, you and your lady had a wonderful dinner date

@mari: hello there! are you into watches as well? anyways, just let 619 watch over you

@Ksroy: this I have to recommend. Seiko Divers!
I'm not kidding! You want toughness? boiling heat and ice cold test showed that the seiko was more durable than the seamaster pro. and it also has the rubber strap which is very durable. It comes with a black face and black outer bezel. and it's quite inexpensive too! I have an Orange face Seiko divers 200m and it's so dependable.
Tag-Heuer? hmmm... the only rubber strap watch they have (i think) is the F1 series (phased out) Tag never was never good too me.. always broke down (I think my ex who gave it, jinxed it! )

@bonito: Actually, the Tag has a rubber version of the Kirium. Looks cute but she says she's thru with Tags. Remember I was selling her old (ystrap) Tag that was all gold and I couldn't find any takers. If you ask me, I don't know why she bought an all gold sports watch. I don't know about the Seiko. Put it this way, most of her watches are Cartiers. Baka pagka-recommend ko ng Seiko, tumaas yung kilay at kurutin ako

@dlreyes: I also collect watches but I'm definitely in a much lower league compared to your collection.

@619: o sige, no look ha. just touch.

@ksroy: ah! Japanese watches are indeed very underrated. at least yan ang pang harabas and it spices up your wife's collection. Is she particular with the engine: quartz or automatic? If I can think of another Swiss alternative for the Seiko divers, I'll let you know. Happy Hunting!

@chito: can you recommend me a good watchsmith who can fix the flyback of my old Speedmaster? I want to maintain the old look, maybe fix the engine parts lang, and of course not too pricey thanks
