WOOT, just got my K850i back! Seems a lot nippier than I ever remember. I loved the free gifts they sent back with it, it makes me a lot mad.

Sorry im going to swear here but this is how angry this phone is making me feel.

I am sick to nice death of this bastarding phone!!! I am sick of sending this phone back and forth and reflashing it for the same fault to occur.

Dunno what is up with it it only does it when i am in the writign a text message screen. The phone screen goes off and wont come back on until the keypad lights have dimmed to off, then it comes back on when i press the button but will usually go straight back off again.

Turning the phone off doesnt help, neither does throwing it at the wall. It is pissing me off so bad i just wanna stamp and smash the thing up! I HATE IT!

I HATE SONY ERRICSON i really hope the twats who built this phone and the bastards who are not bringing out more firmware releases die a horrible death!!!

THAT IS HOW PISSED OFF i am with this phone, i am skint struggling with money as it is and cannot afford to buy another one.

NO one cares at SE they dont think there is a problem and i am stuck with this useless unreliable piece of shit!!

Hi to you guys I have been reading every day but i guess I didnt have anything to say untill now I am probably one the few person who have had little trouble with this k850 untill recently, the only good thing is that SE can now do the same thing that davinci does with out paying ,,the phone have set a trend because all sony ericsson user regardless to what make can now reflash there phones......I had to reflash my phone 5 times in one week to actually get a good working software hmmmmm that alone was annoying but so far so good after reading the last set of treads sony ericsson have to at least come with one more software they just can leave us hanging as someone said once the w910 gets a upgrade we are normally right behind ...I hope to god that is so because we might just loose it and join richardc1983 .........I know exactly how he feels and i hope someone from sony is reading these treads.

I Think its a very very remote chance of don't have any K850i updates anymore..

K800i was less bugyy and had updates for a long time..

Maybe the next will be the last... Is going to be another firmware update...


But don't know anymore when...

Until the end of the year??

SE isn't doing good for all those who bought their phone ...

especially for a premium phone ,

i wouldn't have complain if i had got a 2MP or vga cam phone ...

but this is unacceptable...

we SHOULD do something ....

we didnt pay this much to get a crappy phone ...
i believed that further firmwares should fix the problems when i bought it initially .. but now .. even when its nearing a WHOLE F***ing year ... we are faced with a same firmware.... which SLIGHTLY has improved the speed....


till today i use a theme which is about 5kb so that i could atleast play music and work with opera mini...


and i have switched off all the glamors .. so that i can free up some damn few kb`s so that phone does slow to a turtle pace...

i paid for a phone which can work atleast with musci player and send message without any problem.... but having used this phone ... i now starting to hate text messaging...


WE NEED FIRMWARE FAST AND A GOOD ONE ...

where was the promised TV option in the media manager which we all saw the screenshot before it got release ??? where is it > some said we will see that option on R3 version of the firmy.... where is the f^cking R3 ???


atleast (ass)SE release some software so that we would atleast patch and change the icons , do stuff like that ... atleast we will mod some and change the cam driver , sound files etc .. and if possible remove ur lame . $hitty media manager , which Suc... to the core...

i wish i would see the person who designed , programmed , and waved flag to put this damn phone into mass production .... To SE .... do u think our money comes from trees ??????/


i wish atleast XS++ gets released....


any members here can suggest wht we all can do to reach or make this thread visible to CEO`s , managers of SE ???

R3 was never gonna be, if you read the thread back a long time ago, all the later SE devices run on a new java platform, meaning they got this new firmware, K850i is still on the old platform, it is impossible to upgrade java platforms. There was never gonna be a TV feature, ever, it needed a piece of hardware. I do agree with you SE soughta failed with this phone, but remember it is a cybershot, it was not built for multitasking functionilities that you see in a smart-phone, or a music-multitsking you see in walkmans.

I already contacted SE and said that the k850 is fu.. comparing to its price , but they just answer - update to newest firmware . Even if I said I have that one ...
How about sending request for a new k850 firmware ? More peoples - bigger power !

Well guys i'm totaly tired of this shit... Bought today an W890i. Don't have anymore to wait for this damm firmware and have my lens full of dust all the time..

And what about the reboots??? So lovely.. once per week..
