I'm with ARJ2442 on this one

I bet you 5,000,000 dollars they will announce one before the end of the year, a Cybershot branded K850i

3GSM and pre-christmas are likely windows for new devices to appear.

Anounce or release?? We all know whats happening with the P990
And besides any new K-series K800 and up will be Cybershot branded

Im not really bothered with the old will they/wont they release another k series phone this year. All im interested in is WHEN, when will i get my grubby little paws on a brand spanking K800i.

There is no way, after the success of marketing , that they are not going to have a go with Cybershot by releasing a nice range of phones to compliment the K800i.

Thats my opinion anyway

i agree with arj2442 but i can be bothered to wait that long for a new phone when my contract runs out which is in the next couple of weeks.

also so what if the k800 doesn't have very good video capture, but how often do you video stuff. Also if sony did up the video capability then they would have to put in a much bigger memory than the 64MB M2 stick.

I agree there will be more Cybershot phones announced this year, but no K800 successor...

u kno wats horrible..se aint even giving hpm-70's wid da phone...deres was a guy sellin two new prototypes wid final software and he showed some pics and one was this one and as u can c there are normal headphones in the box

That is my phone you're showing....

And these are prototypes... things can change from here to release. So don't assume what comes in a proto package is identical to what comes with a full retail.

Also, the phones are LATEST firmware, not final.
