I was looking at buying one of these and had a question about the firmware. Does it have the latest version of the A200 software? Or atleast the option to change the manu layouts (single, rotating, grid)?
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I thought a firmware update might have brought it up to speed.
Thanks.

i've just about given up on a new firmware being released. i got the phone once the buggy batches all dwindled out, but the phone itself is just poorly made. i kept some faith being a previous owner of a k700, w810, w850 (all great phones), but i should have expected problems when i saw more than a handful of youtube videos of people running over w910s with their cars, throwing them out windows and stomping on them. the phone works. it does what i need it to. it just does it poorly.
waiting for xs++ and some clever modders to see if they can do anything, but it looks like my next phone won't be sony ericsson. shame, i loved their old product line.
R1FA035
PROS:
stylish design
CONS:
slow interface
locks up (on average once every week)
finicky bluetooth connection
signal drops to zero at times
useless walkman button

Is it possible that the w910i isn't able to show schedules on the "home"screen? The only way to recognize is to activate the reminder-alarm....I think the w810i showed a schedule with a "!" next to the date....right???
I always have to start the calender just to know if there's a schedule today...that sucks

Hello Guys,
I'm planning to buy a W910i and I'm wondering if it can display incoming e-mails (or at least notification of it) on the standby screen. I couldn't find any screenshots on the net that would show me what kind of things you can display on the standby screen.
Can you put there something? Like sender and subject or similar of incoming emails?
Thanks

Just got one myself to see me through my contract after my K850i died.
You just get the email icon at the top of the screen. It's not treated as a new event like SMS or Calender reminders etc. These can be made to popup on the standby screen (Settings/General/New events)

Yes, I figured. So I changed back to my good old P1i which is by far the most awesome phone there is on the market today
