i believe w950 and m600 does not have a d-pad (except for the wheel on the side)

It could look better but the unorthodox keypad position will drive away standard keypad design users to it's peak for sure, no wonder why K850/P1 failed to become at least a good hit here in my place just like what P990 and K800 did.

OK, I've been told that the phone on this picture - photoshopped or not - looks somewhat like a phone in the experimental stages, some time back. Whether or not this has been cancelled, I don't know.
