Nowadays it's so much easier to draw a concept phone... Draw a black rectangle, put a gray line at the bottom with the SONY logo, some white gradient and you have it! No other shapes, no PS skills required, just MS Paint with 16 colors and here you go!

So what? Simple doesn't necessarily mean bad. The most stylish things often are the most simple. The Xperia S has an extremely simplisitic monolithic appearance, but that doesn't stop it from being absolutely beautiful. See for something to look good, you don't need to saturate it with colour, or too many shapes. Especially if you're designing a premium product. Too many different shapes and angles can often result in something looking like some kind of a toy. This is known as over-cooking design.

Heck, even the 2010-2011 Sony [Ericsson] Phones were hardly complex designs. They often had an incredibly simplistic design language. The Ray, in my opinion, the best looking 2011 device, was as simple as you could get. Black front, with nothing bit Sony Ericsson at the top, Xperia at the bottom and the two soft-keys and the home button. That's it. Nothing complicated. The ridiculous Gold and Pink versions did nothing to improve the device's look either.

Once again though, design is subjective. You can cry all day everyday about how it requires no skill needed to create a black square rectangle, not going to change the fact that there are plenty of people who enjoy such simplistic design.

It's more like this

S3 = 1st gen Core i3 + Integrated GPU

S4 = 2nd gen Core i5 + Mid range Dedicated GPU

S4 Pro = 2nd gen i7 + Upper mid range Dedicated GPU

A9600 (with Rogue GPU) = 4th gen i5 + High end Dedicated GPU

No, the A9600 would probably be the most powerful SoC on the market when released (depending on how many GPU cores it has). ARM Cortex A15MP2 1.5-2.5GHz + SGX640MP2 would be plenty to absolutely smoke the competition in every way conceivable.

The Bravia concept above is really nice but hopefully sharper back sides not fat curves like samsungs.

Nothing is known about it so far.
Does anybody have any info on what it could be?
