My Z2 just arrived!
I will test it and let you know.
It's probably tomorrow I'll have more time to find out how it really is.
And guys, don't let trolls and haters spoil the fun.
Z2 has one of the best phone's camera ever made.
Almost every test shows this, those frustrated cats here don't mean anything really.
808 is not comparable because it's not a phone - it's an idiotic Nokia experiment
resulting in camera attached to a junk device pretending beeing a smartphone.
Very old crappy phone with the worst Symbian ever made.
Let's be serious, please.

Doesn't come close to the 1020 and the Z2 sensor isn't that big, no zooming capabilities like the Nokia's, the 3x clear zoom is crap too.

I compared several time shots of 808/1020 and z2. i don't share your opinion. 1020 produce good photos but its colors always look fake to me, and 808 looks less noisy only when zoomed, and anyway, nobody buys a phone just for its camera. another 10mm+ thick brick with a bump that is even thicker that will appeal only to nokia fans and people who likes windows os and dated hardware. overall, there is no comparison here. z2 is a much better device then both. the best all around nokia phone is 1520 but only for people who likes windows and its just got beaten by g pro 2 that has also 6" display and better camera. that makes nokia highest end phones only appeal to hardcore windows os fans. i hope microsoft does better for the sake of competition.

I don't trust the DXoMark thing at all.
A phone with a 1/2.3" sensor and LED flash is not better at taking pictures than a phone with a 1/1.5" sensor, Xenon flash and OIS. Plus it has no lossless zoom abilities like the 1020.
Sorry but it doesn't compare to the 1020 nevermind beat it.

And by the way the 808 is NOT just camera, just saying.
Most smartphones, including the 808, pretty much do all of the same things in different ways.. that's why for me the main differentiator is the camera, everything else is secondary.
I can make a phone call on all of them, I can send an email on all of them, I can watch a youtube vid on all of them, I can have sat nav on all of them, I can listen to music on all of them, I can check the weather, I can record a video, I can watch movies, I can play games, and the list goes on.
If the Z2 had a better camera I would be all over it, but it doesn't.

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!!!
The FIRST of us user to have a Z2 in his hands!!!!
Please Doministry shed some light on:
- Speaker Performance (music and incoming calls)
- Daylight Visibility
- Dimensions and Handling
- Camera (if you can
)
- Notification LED
- Build Quality
- New function (like Smart Backlight, Tap2Wake and so on)
- Pen and Stylus INPUT
I know this are a lot of things... But you are the first here with a Z2, please be patient!

I can definitely say that the 808 is better than the Z2 camerawise
