Even samsung haven't brought up a foldable phone i am sure sony cant catch up in this regard with samsung..
And regarding cine alta i havent heard about it... Can it bring massive improvements to 4k recording? Is it software mediated or requires some additional sensors too

Well Sony has been working on flexible displays as long if not possibly longer than Samsung. MAYBE they have something to show?
It looks like some of the Chinese brands will have folding displays, but I think that might be related to the allegations that Samsung tech was sold to them.

Venice line has much more power than the Alpha cams.
Maybe some features can be ported to Xperia.
No mirrorless has 21:9 mode.
Sumaho says info is 99,9% hot.
I hope they use physical Bionz instead of software only.
A9 and A7R3 are the most powerful cams of planet.
Stacked sensor of a9 gives it a giant edge over the rest.
Xperia can take advntage too.

In the clue numbers, could 180 refer to 180 degree shutter used in cinema?

this one is from one years ago but the key is probably right, "sonysony" so we can get cinealta from the code.
this is not about the foldable phone unless 2p meant 2 part of device
maybe raw video capabilities ,180 degree video recording or with tof sensor other video-centric ar imaging.

It's stupid to judge what software can do by using different settings.
Even worse different resolutions.
Pocket cameras are made for regular people, still photographers wont test Auto/JPEG.
Those sites teach tons of wrong stuff.
1) make ppl believe bigger pixel is better at night. Weird because the 12MP 1.44 is much more popular than 12MP 1.55 , not even count A7R3 42MP outperforms A7S2 12 MP in low light ( words from dpreview).
2) make ppl believe f1.7 on phone is same of f1.7 on full frames, also brighter aperture is better. S9 with f1.5 is put to shame by other at night.
3) dont tell ppl that noise can be result of less noise reduction used and not software issue.
When dxo tested z5, it was used at 8MP. Then ppl started to complain about how bad it was at 23.
Of course it would be. High res with small sensor.
The point is at 20, 25 or 40 MP photos from Apple, Samsung or Google will look ugly too.
But ppl compain about Sony only.
There are points to improve, hdr makes photo ugly.
Wben you have trees or bush.
It's not any worse than samsung ...
