I bet that everyone will be amazed by the June announcement. I bet there is a supreme phone hidden so well from us. Paris is not the top end phone of the year I bet.

Everyone seems to think that SE is a company run by cavemen. There are some smart people out there who have thought of everthing we have but, months back. They now the score and will act accordingly. Of all the people I know none have Nokia music phones, instead they have Walkmans. The choice of smartphone however is the N95 but that is an awesome phone. Forget about Eldar, my friend got himself a Gold plated iPhone by selling a kidney and he knows its a flawed phone. Try explaining that in terms of market share and company strategy.

Im curious to see how and when we will see this project capuchin implemented in SE devices. For it to deliver what it promises, shouldnt we see really great UI and/or application effects?

Love that spirit, especially after yesterday's Moscow Champion's League final experience.... May cheer everyone up soon!

what i'm really interested in is seeing LIVE usage shots of the new UIQ phones to come.

The G700/900 product videos make the interface look like it runs extremely smooth and very responsive. I'm curious if this is not exaggerated in the video.

Same goes for beibei and Paris. I'd love to see live usage shots.

in the youtube video Xeller uploaded, it seems that the response of the UIQ phone really responsive and fast.

please reupload the pics so that we can see them.

I can only provide you with these ones. Notice there are four colours now: Blue, Pink, Red, and Black

SO906i

I'll post a few pics of the SH906i even though it's by Sharp. I wish SE's phones were like Sharp.

SH906i

Japanese phones don't usually have bluetooth [including Sony Ericsson], and this is one of the unique ones that have it. But notice this phone is bluetooth keyboard compatible. That's a first for a nonsmart phone =O Also, the phone has touch cruiser, which is like a mouse touchpad, and is touchscreen in horizontal flip mode.

Eldar makes some good points, why isn't SE coming out with a gaming phone? Why did they drop the inbuilt FM receiver from W980?
Seems like they would rather drop features that are difficult rather than making an extra effort to really come up with a great product.
If this trend continues it will get more and more difficult to stay with SE.

Yeah its disappointing with all the news and I hope come June we'll here a bit more good news.

As for the w980 I read somewhere you'll still be able to use the phone to transmit to your radio like an FM transmitter but the reason they dropped receiving FM signal transmitter is that it was unstable.

Then you can use something like that, and it's almost perfect

I saw another home-made one, doesn't have wires, the whole 3.5mm jacket is located inside the FastPort jack, much more portable, and the same guy maded another version of it wich includes antenna ( not an antenna but just tells teh phone that there's an antenna attached ) and it works perfect

EDIT : googled and here's some photos
