I think I will be happy with Paris if it improves on Beibei's specs a little bit. There are things I'd like, and things I'd need. What Id actually need is for the most part there in Beibei already (or at least, given away by spypics of Paris, e.g. D-pad, camera 5.0 Mpx, decent UI, etc), and theres what I'd really like (better screen, thin handset, horizontal sliding querty keyboard). To be honest with you, unless by september something really stunning is announced by someone (someone most likely being SE or HTC, in my case), Ill most likely end up getting Paris. I already really like most things about the G900 anyway. Paris offers much better functionality because of the better web browser and Qwerty keyboard. Unless something like an Xperia UIQ model comes along and outdoes Paris, or Raphael is much better than I thought, then I think itll be a very good choice anyway. PK seems to think so.
And to be fair, even if it isnt the most high end device around, it does deliver alot, and I think Id be happy with that. At least I can be proud that Id never resort to N*kia. Pssshhh, N*kia, Ill admit theyre doing well for themselves at the moment, but...ewww N*kia!!!
Absolutely spot on. I have many times had all the high end phones from Nokia in my hands and even if the specs are great i dont like any of them... from samsung the UI is ugly and same goes for LG. Since for me looks and build quality are very important I could never use anything else that SE anymore...

There is already a thread to the i900.
If you're interested here is the link.

And for the keyboard I'm pretty sure that it has it, there wouldn't be any reason to leave it out on the 3.3 version.
Paris being a G-series device could be true. If it is then it would be the end of the P-series.
thanks for the link
but a qwerty keyboard on a small screen like beibei's ? ?
plus all UIQ 3.0 phones by SE had 2.6 inch or more screen
thats why i asked
does G700/900 have on screen qwerty keyboard ?

I completely agree. I'm going to wait it out and see what is announced in the next month or so, but if there's nothing that stands out to me, then I may have to switch it up to Nokia too. I just want a good camera phone to replace my dying k790, but the k850 scares me too much....come on SE, you can do it!!
K850i has a good camera.
I was shocked about its picture quality at first but after a while got to know how to use it properly...picture quality is just perfect
i would recommend it !

Hi,
Can someone give me a reason for this thing?
Why isn't the 3,5 mm plug included in the headset as good as this, you even get a microphone with that!

Because SE wouldn't sell as much accessories as they're doing now and if they want to change it now they have to ditch the old ones and make a whole new range of accessories.

Is this a SE strategy to force us to bay their accessories? Like getting rid of the play/pause button so that people buy the HPM-82 (which I'm buying today for my K750i) or moving the fast-port to the side, so that people would consider buying bluetooth headsets?

But i know it's intentional because SE is promoting the use of bluetooth
First they have to get some decent volume level with A2DP. On my P990 it's not possible to use BT headphones unless you are in a very quiet place. The volume level is just pathetic.
I hope SE is doing something to correct this as well.

Everyone seems to think that SE is a company run by cavemen. There are some smart people out there who have thought of everthing we have but, months back. They now the score and will act accordingly.
I strongly disagree, unless those people you mention were hired after the P990 fiasco.

I clearly had one of the strange p990s that worked fine. Ok, I re-started it every few days, but that's no huge problem.
I leant it to my boss for a weekend after her htc phone died and she bought the p1i immediatly on the strength of it. We all know that the p990 could have worked better, but it's far from the disgrace that people make it out to be. Certainly compared to so many 1st generation phones from other manufacturers which have been far worse.
Now how about some of these new phones.

I also have one of those P990s that work well. My point was that SE miscalculated and mismanaged the whole P990 debacle.
They need to have learned some serious lessons if they don't want to repeat this mistake, unfortunately they haven't really done much to boost our confidence. Still waiting for that device that may turn the tide...
