Just got this phone. Impressions:

1. The physical form of the phone is awesome, very sexy design, very apple-esque. Size is great. Of course I have a white one.
2. If you like P800 - P910 then you will love this phone.
3. RSS feeds are awesome.
4. AFTER an upgrade to the latest firmware, the phone is really great. The only major problem i have with it is the screen still flickers when making a call.
5. The interface does take some time to get used to, but like anything, once you are used to is, its awesome.

Buy this phone if u want a business phone, but dont need a camera.

Hi Guys,

2 Questions..

1 Is it possible to open an mp3 streaming media? I see that ACC worked fine but can't get an mp3 stream working. For example

http://www.abradio.nl/abradio.pls it is a 128kbs stream that I should handle with my 3G account but it says that the link is broken. Anyone more succes?

2 I realy would like msn om my m600. Now are there a few software possibilities and one of them is free and works with java. I can't get it to work and on a review some guy say that it works fine at his m600!!

Maybe you can try..it is on: http://www.getjar.com/products/603/eMSN I've tried this version and the lite version..

Hey guys,

Sorry this is completely off topic, but I am having issues with my email on my m600 and was wondering if you guys are having the same issue.

My imap email account cannot download the body of the email, it just downloads the headers. When I try to open the message, it says "This message is damaged and cannot be opened"

It happened right after the SE update service I ran on it. Before the update, the push email used to not work after I recieved or made a call, and I would have to restart messaging.

Now the push email works great, but no body!! Pop3 works fine, but push doesnt work with pop3. Sigh....this is so SE....fixes one thing and breaks another....Please help...

Is it possible to revert back to the old firmware? That might be my best option. Thanks in advance.

hi.

XON, on your m2 card is a software called IM+
It's just a 'tryout' .. however it has different Instant Messages clients .. one of this is MSN..

I tried it and it worked great.. no problem at all...

did you try that software already ??

@macman7

A number of people have this problem. It even works in IMAP if you uncheck "idle" and define an intervall for polling (polling however does not seem to be consistent. Many people reported problems with a 15 minute interval).

Guess we'll have to wait for the next upgrade, but this is a real pain. I understand now why proprietary solutions like Blackberry are popular: I bought first a Nokia N80: the specs for S60 3rd edition say explicitly that IMAP idle is supported. The settings are not even present in the phone. I then got an M600i and the settings are there but bugged. Should we start crying ?

Has any of the M600i users noticed the stated delivery time on the M600i when receiving a SMS message... what I mean is... when you have the M600i switched off or in Flight mode... and your better half sends you a message that is "urgent" and when you turn on the phone... it states the time that it is delivered to the phone and not the time that it is sent... maybe a couple of hours earlier

Seriously though... not seen this on any other phone...

yes.. have noticed that too... on the S700 I was able to see the received date/time and the sent date/time...

does anyone know, if I can customize that somewhere on the m600i ..
sometimes it is good to know, WHEN someone has sent me an sms..

Quick question for all you guys with the handset already. Tried searching but strangely found nothing.

Can the m600 support 2 exchange accounts on different servers? Only I have exchange both for personal and business email and it would be nice to use both.

Hey!

I have a small trouble with M600i with mobile TV.
How make videostreaming work?

My operator said that I have to enter videostreaming server name video.lmt.lv, but unfortunatelly I can't find such an option nowhere (in manuals there is no info about this option)

Where to write this in?

PS
Internet access is ok. Speed allso is ok. but the videolinks is not working .
