Thanks very much Razec!
Yeah I think
got it so right with the C905, but I'd still prefer a candybar.
On a side-note, does anybody know how to make an image that doesn't get dulled out as soon as you upload it to the internet? All my pictures go very dull. For example, the greens of the
logo are meant to be vivid green, and that's how they look on the original file...

@Muhammad Oli
Looks amazingly realistic, Nice design !
but i'd prefer to have the k750,w800 kinda lens instead of k850 one.

Thanks Sunils120!
Yes I know, I only used the K850i lens because its the best looking
lens picture I could find (C905 images are taken on the wrong angle). The camera features are the only parts I don't draw myself, and only because they are very complex and I don't have enough camera knowledge. So I try to edit existing camera parts to my liking.

Hey all, on the topic of lenses, just thought i'd quickly mock up what I would have liked to see! (although for me the C905 is Perfect designwise)!
I'd like to have seen the lens shape inherited from the SO905iCS/Sony T Series - just preferred it!

@Sony α: I don't know whether or not I prefer that to the original C905 lens, as I don't have a problem with either design. What do you think is wrong with the C905's lens, if you don't mind me asking?
Nice effort with the photoshop though!

I'd like to issue my second challenge to our Esato photoshopping elite:
The Sony Ericsson Photoshopped T610i Revival Concept Challenge
I would like to mention this was
Goldenface's idea, so all credit to him!
And yes the title is long-winded.
First up: There is
NO prize. There will be
NO winners. Let's just get that straight.
This is a challenge to see what us photoshoppers can come up with here. The idea for this challenge came out of disappointment caused by recently leaked images of a yet to be announced
phone, which appears to be an attempt at a T610i revival:
All those that take up the challenge should design a Sony Ericsson T610i Revival concept and post it here in this thread. The naming of the phone is up to you. It may be a T610i Classic (though you may wish to steer clear of Nokia-esque naming conventions), a T610i Revival, a T610i Homage, a T620i, or whatever you wish!
- The design therefore must be a candybar phone with a similar styling scheme to that of the original T610i.
- All specification is up to you, and you should include a list of specification with your entry.
- Bear in mind that the T610i was a pioneering phone in the mobile phone world, and in its day was considered a very high-end phone. Your entry should reflect this, but with a more modern approach. This means it should include high-end specs.
- The T610i is regarded as an
classic, so your design should be respectful to the original's design philosophies.
Any Esato member can have a go at it.
Nobody will insult anyone who makes an attempt. Once again, there is no winner... So any competition between members is only friendly.
Please try to keep your designs mostly your own. So, not too much borrowing from real phones, though a little bit of borrowing is acceptable. For example, you might like to borrow a few buttons or a camera lens, or perhaps even a texture from the original T610i. If you wish to use a lot of cutting and pasting of features from current
phones,
you should edit them beyond easy recognition.
This challenge could equally be taken as a T650i update, if you wish to. It should still reflect the T610i though, just as the T650i attempts to.
The point of the challenge is solely out of interest for what our designers might come up with. If you are interested in giving it a go, let everyone here know and then get to work! I look forward to seeing what our talented Esato photoshoppers will come up with.
I will quickly mention that the first challenge is still open, if anyone would like to contribute to that one. You will find it about halfway down the page in this link:
The Sony Ericsson Photoshopped Z850i Concept Challenge
Of course with the new
naming conventions, you may like to call it something different, for example, Z906 or C906.
Cheers,
Oli.

@Oli
Great Idea by GoldenFace!!
Well the C905's lens shape - nothing wrong with it lol - I just prefer the Shape of the SO905iCS/T Series lens lol!
Haha, I've been using Adobe products for a long while, lets see what we can all come up with, as a Homage to the GREAT T610!

@Sony α
It'll be interesting to see everyone's interpretation of what a new T610 will look like. I'm itching to have a go myself, I'll just have to get hold of a copy of PS, I've been meaning to do for a while now.

@GoldenFace
I agree, after all - it is the epitome of design lol - my Design Tutors back in London still use the T610, and swear by it - up to and including the design!
I still have my Volcanic Red T610...Who else still has their T610's?
