@goldenface, that's not just you, it's me too
and SE phones has a better battery lifes, since the CPU is weaker than Nokia Nseries CPU. ARM-9 200Mhz processor in C902 consumes less power than ARM-11 400Mhz in N82.
If nokia uses ARM-9 CPU, the complex Symbian OS would makes the phone very slow like a hell turtle.
A100 and A200 is fast enough to run on ARM-9 architecture.
Like making WinVista running on Pentium III. Win98, run flawlessly, when WinVista run like a 90-years-old-man
@QVGA, I only thrown my comparison argument if I has try BOTH of the phone that needs to thinks about.
Has you ever get using G900 for at least three months? G900 is not even UIQ 3.3, and although I only use it in 5 days (borrowed it

), I can states that the overall usability is better than any S60 and WM-powered O2, and Nokia N82
Then my dad's friend offering BeiBei's proto with UIQ 3.3 beta... So that's the reason why I says that UIQ 3.3 is better than Symbian, mainly because it's touchscreen capabilities.
Yes Nokia has prepared S60 touch, but I can't comment because I never try NokiaTube.
But I have seen S60 touch interface via YouTube. In my opinion, the Menu interface is still arranged as if it doesn't has a touchscreen. You will use a keypad more often (maybe because it's still beta, but it would not improved much in final release.)
In UIQ, the icon has a nice placement and arranged all over the screen, makes your finger can touch without any problem, and you would not using keypad that much.
A new user would use UIQ without any difficulities. For now, just try G900, and give it a chance for 3 months
And remember, an upcoming Hecaro and W960 successor has a probability using UIQ 3.3, and will compete with S60 touch, which I would doubt since NokiaTube doesn't offers ground-breaking specs.
It's funny knowing the fact that UIQ is running on Symbian kernel, and developed by Symbian. An open foundation makes SE lost a chance to become a market leader by max out the UIQ potential
I can't comment on N81, hasn't tried it yet. But yes, my N82 and K800i doesn't made a huge difference in sound quality WHEN i using HPM-85 to both of them.
But since N82's standard headsets is a crap. . .
As I said before, it's all about the headsets. Nokia doesn't offered decent headsets, at least in my town. Sennheiser CX-300 is the solution for my N82, a third-party headphone.
And now, HPM-77 is better than Sennheiser. Can't comment on HPM-88 yet, but I has a positive thinking for it's noise-cancelling capabilities, simply because Sony MDR series that has NC is wonderful! I think SE's HPM-88 is just a rebranding from Sony MDR series, since the model is very similar
And I agree with you QVGA, the sound-driver mod things is simply because of SE's weird strategy of Walkman. They could makes the sound driver become the same between W880 and K800.
But they don't. They lowered the sound quality of K800i. So the solution is by simply putting that W880 driver to my K800i. I mod my phone to get Walkman quality, while keeping my CyberShot capability
SE should thinks about breathtaking all-in-one flagship device that has UIQ, Walkman, CyberShot, and Bravia capabilities max out to the edge. It will sells like a hot cakes, that could make SE become a market leader.
Some years ago, Walkman and CyberShot separation is a good idea, and those two concept is still fresh.
Since they made a mistakes in some of their flagship, and the other manufacturer keeps innovating with increased competency situation, Walkman and CyberShot just behave as a fool marketing gimnick.
Nowadays, even Nokia, LG and Samsung has their own "Walkman" and "CyberShot" concept in One phone, not separated like SE.
Just try to leave this restriction, thinking out of the box, and it will attract many people from all over the world.
Still, SE has an advantages among others by offering these brand names and SE logo in their phone. SE (i mean Sony) have a nice marketing idea.
Another manufacturer doesn't has this thing. Hav you seen Nokia and Samsung logo?
Brand recognition is a good start for a company to compete with others. Just like you come to a store and looking for a computer that has Intel Inside logo
And I don't say that S60 UI has a bad looking. Good and bad is a relative thing
There are a lot of free themes that we can get. I am satisfied with S60. But humans always looking for a better things. When compared with C905 flash UI. . . Ouch!
And you're right about manual EQ flaws in UIQ, I must do some post-processing EQ to all my .mp3 by using Sony (again, Sony) Sound Forge, then upload it to my W960
But I don't hav this problem on my A200 phones
Enough typing, I'm tired using OperaMini in my Nokia 7610 to write
Thanks for your attention, I appreciate your argument

Yeah, my mobile phone is my girlfriend, since I dont have any REAL girlfriend since I was born
But it takes some time to writing in this SMS style
I could type 10x faster in keyboard
But my parents doesn't allowing me to turn on my computer, simply because in my country, it is now 3.40am. I supposed to be in a dreamland right now
You're right, SE keeps insisting to use 12-grid type on their A200 and UIQ. Maybe that's because the shortcut capability based on 12-buttons on the phone. That makes they prevent putting an object more than 12 in the main menu.
In symbian, we only can pressing 9 upper object with the 1-9 buttons. The rest can't be pressed.
I'm quite satisfied with this 12-type. But, I would love to see SE allowing this 12 object to be customizable, like making "Messaging" object putting into 2, instead by fixed it to 5.
Maybe SE will add that feature in their upcoming phones
But for information, we can do it right now by modding a layout of the menu using some third-party program
In A200 phone, the icon looks can be changed via flash themes, without any third-party program
Thanks for your attention,
Hiron

@rustam07,
This is just a focal length measurement. Bigger focal length doesn't means bigger sensor size.
But different focal length could give different image quality. There are many other factor. Let's judge it later when both of the product has been released
@croatia,
Slow down, he just kidding
