SE should not be jealous to samsung and should not realease another high mp cameraphone. 8mp is very high enough for a mobile phone!
What they should do is improve their cam-modules but not by increasing the megapixel count.

No, because 12MP sells better and is more hyped. Look at Moto ZN5, that one is maybe even better then the 8MP phones if you stretch the pics to 8MP and still no-one gives a damn about it.

be doing something to match it, or better it i.e. a smartphone? Based on the Xperia brand, we should see a premium, professional and media centric device right?
We has so far established that Hikaru is a Walkman with 8MP camera but will the Xperia be comparable to the so called N99?

The N99 is meant to be very high end, the N97 is to fill in the gap before the N99 release. Honestly, I think the X1 is better than the N97 (having played with both) but the competition is still hot for summer.
I'm interested to know what UI the Xperia has since HTC are WinMo or Android and Nokia are SF. The HTC Touch Pro is like the X1's ugly sister, will there be another pretty Xperia with an ugly HTC sibling?
The 12MP Samsung is supposed to be announced before MWC and then displayed there. I know its tight on information at
but come on, Muhammad-Oli has got very little work to do!
