Found a good chart over the different imageon GPUs. STE will have it @ 600mhz so it will totally destroy everything out in the market, ipad being the current leader (PowerVR SGX 544MP4 which is a little better than 543).

Just FYI, this GFLOPS thing measure the raw compute power of the GPU, it's not comparable to real graphics performance specially between different architectures.. for example AMD Radeon HD 7800 GPU has much much higher GFLOPS than NVIDIA GeForce GTX680 but the later is better in graphics... even in same company, the GTX 680 has higher graphics performance than GTX 580 but the later has higher GFLOPS than GTX 680...

That is hard to believe because it has lower specs than the Nexus 4. What would Sony gain by releasing a
Nexus phone with lower specs than the previous model?

Sony has to make sure that the time between announcement and release on Odin/Yuga is as short as possible.
There are many rumors floating around that the Galaxy S4 could be announced at CES or MWC and that Apple could release the iPhone 5S in March.
If Sony repeats the mistake from last year by announcing the phones 3 to 4 months before release all the hype will be gone by the time it hits the market. Good timing could mean success or failure.
