deepsweech... i also encountered that same problem with semicon... I had a warrantied t28 at that time... I followed up constantly with semicon (for more than a month), pero ganoon pa rin... wala pa raw response from Ericsson, walang stock... finally I called up Ericsson, sabi nila meron daw silang stock ng t28... then and only then, did i get my replacement unit from Ericsson, not from semicon. it only took me 2 days when I followed up from Ericsson.

really? me it took me one day to find out. but anyways here's d result in my case. smartnet told me that the replacement fee is 6K which is a lil big but its fine for me, then i the price that SE told smartnet is 17K!!!!!!
whatd@#$@ its almost buying a new waranteed one right? i calld SE and they said they dont support replacement now for non-waranteed fones(so maybe thats the reason y) but here's prob about smartnet: they told me to wait for 2 weeks without a fone and after helping them to communicate with SE, ill find out that the fee is 17K not 6K? might as well buy a new one before then. that really sucks.
here's the bottomline:
if u bought a waranteed sony-ericsson and the waranty expires then ur fone fckdup widout droping it(SW maybe) BUY A NEW ONE.
MY oppinion
for SE: T68i really rocks but im sad to say quality sucks
xs. im buying a new fone today what do u suggest bsides SE?
