hehe...i modded mu k7 today...on killer & san''s post here...
i opened the k7 with lots of fear(it still got the warrenty) first the double cli[p then the clip below and finally the clip at the lower corner(with somedifficulty).then i had big difficuty with the opening of the top corners.even though i read that u can pop it open,i was careful with it.finally it opened.i got two (one sheet was not having much effect)thin sheets of polythene blue coloured plastic bag cut in the shape of the keyboard and inserted it nder the keyboard.noe th blue colour of the keyboard matches the theme.thanks san!!!
by the way,will the plastic melt due to the heat??its worrying me...wat say san??

@thug, not sure but yeah if its a thin plastic bag it cud melt (depends on how long u have the lights on, playin games etc?)
i used a slightly thicker wrapper, so i think it shuld hold for normal usage.

well i used thin plastic coz the other forums where u r a member,they discussed that if we use thick plastec it will affect the keys(the buttons wont press well).got any problems like that in ur case?

i downloaded the first file in the book folder of the gmail drive but i cant open it with my winzip version 2.but the second file of the book folder worked fine with the winzip.why so??
