Yes same here.. and same in the case of K810i, if you turn on the silent mode, the camera shutter&focus sounds automatically mute.

yes, this region specific.
Mine (dutch) will still make the sound even in silent mode
Weird, mines dutch too and I can make the shutter go silent

/tpa/preset/system/sound/
The file names are pretty self explanitory (eg. camerashutter4.3gp)
Where is the main XML setting file located?
On my K750 I tried changing the option there to allow the camera sounds to be turned off in silent mode but from memory it didn't work. had to remove the sound files as well.
