Yes u need to backup ur contacts,msgs etc with MyPhoneExplorer or some other software.. coz now SEUS doesn't update the main part only, it now completely reinstall the whole firmware. (just like a clean windows installation.)

Thanks buddy, just did a full flash and restored my messages and phonebook using MyPhoneExplorer. Seems to have cured the menu freezes, will see if it stops the switching off.

Errm, I found the right layout now.

But, will I break my CDA if I change the layout files? (mediaplayer and the one for desktop)

It is made by tarus.

Nope, changing layouts doesnt affect the CDA. I changed mines several times but finally reverted to the original ones.

Hi all,

Can anyone please help? How do I check whether my CDA is incorrect? I heard that we can change the CDA using other programs but what's the procedure? I am still using the R1CA037 and I have both English and Chinese inputs (both traditional and simplified).

Anyone please help?
