SE should keep releasing new firmwares till all (minor or major) bugs are fixed.

Although im happy with the current R1F fw i also think theres quite a bit of room for improvement especialy in the Media Player, whilest playing music its stil kinda slow.

Yes I agree with you. I'm also happy with the current one but it still needs some improvements.

APAC-ANZ is always late on updates. What area does SE prioritize first anyway?
maybe we should at least have one person to check for update on that area

There is this ignorant nerd who insists (particularly in other forums) that the K850i production was ceased in July 2008. My new K850i, which replaced the miserably-built-outrageously-priced-blurry-camera C905, was built on week 42 0f 2008 as depicted in the photo. Week 42 is October 13-19. I have to admit that the manufacturing quality has nothing to do with then early production units. It is excellent and trouble-free! Plus its price is now a real bargain!

But guys serious..
why do we even want a update it will probaly convert cid52 to cid53 so we cant mod it anymore, And yes the firmware could be better but I don't think SE will put any energy in this phone anymore..
And btw I'm very happy with the R1FA035 firmware!

R1FA is a good firmware but my phone seems slow in simple animations like when opening the menu. Maybe i need to reflash to generic (currently on TAIWAN version). For now im just looking for 2 changes for my phone:
1. Force AF LED in Doc mode.
2. Disable automatic brightness adjustment of screen.
The first change should be possible through the camdriver but i havent found anything in there to enable it for doc mode, need help from modders. As for the second change, i have no idea where to look and what to do. SE should have put an option to enable/disable it. Anyone knows a way to do it?
