I think you maight consider some points
having only the last digit change from 0 to 2 means it's just another variant, no more spec, or no better target, as you can see G702 has GPS & HSDPA & WiFi but at the cost of camera, as both are intended to be in the same price range ( or very close ) something must be sacrificed in order to make this advance in spec.
G902 if the name is correct will be the same, we may see GPS & HSDPA but at the cost of other element, we may have a 3.2MP camera ( with or without AF and flash )
so G702 and G700 are just variants to fullfaith the market needs, same goes for G902 and G900, don't expect something more spec. from G902 or the middle digit will go higher than 0 ( like G910 or G950 )...
tries to make more choices to thier customers by offering a varity of spec. some users may find GPS & HSDPA a better option than a decent camera, and some find GPS & HSDPA not a must have thing's and they prefere camera
specially noting the very short time between G700 and G702 indicates the later is not a face-off nor a successor, just another variant and taste for market needs
is trying hard to keep the market well in it's hands, this will increse thier market share, but they have to give more attention to those who want's every thing, those who called them selfs ( enthusiasts ) or ( fans ) and I consider my self + some other here too one of these

E.g. the C912 will be the successor of the C902 and so on

I don't think that the cam of the G702 will be that much of a downgrade since mizzle said that the pics taken with G702 are really good.
But you're right, if you put new features in a phone and want to keep it in the same price category there must be sacrifices on other parts of it.
Anyway I don't really care about the cams of cell phones since I only use it for one or two shots out of necessity. Therefore the G702 is better in my opinion.
Nowadays the phone cams are totally overrated anyway (that's just how I see it).

The manly black version of Beibei looks nice as does Paris. The battery cover of Paris looks like it does not fit for some reason but it does look better than in previous pictures.
My K770 has an excellent camera so if the G700 and G900 can match that, I am happy. Since Beibei has a scroll wheel, will the G902 also have this? Also, what about a memory card slot i.e. so you don't have to open the battery cover for the G902?
