I did the right prodedure on updating my w800 flash, right cda and revision. When I turn on the phone I get an error msg saying there is a configuration problem and I should contact my operator.

cda 102425/25

used W800_R1BC002_FS_AMERICA2.bin for language
and W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA.bin

Finished with far dropping all those files (after changing cda and rev) inside the specified folder. Everytime I check that folder its empty tho.. so Im wondering if there isnt anything wrong with the finalization.
I can use the flight mode btw.....
Checked the software info with the >* stuff and it looks all right... I can see the new firmware and everything.

Does anyone know how to fix it? I must have screwed up something and my phone is useless now.

Sorry if the answer is around here somewhere.. but there are like 120 pages in 2 topics. If the answer is there plz just point it and Ill look for it.

Thank you.

I have the same problem here. Flashed with the latedt firmware and edited the customize.xml file. Dont know if i edited it right though, cos it doesn't work on my ohoe. I flashed with W800_R1BD001_MAIN_EU_1_CA_RED36.bin and W800_R1BD001_FS_EMEA_1_RED36.bin with SE Remote unlocker 13.7, and it went fine. Heres an excerpt of what i did to customize.xml:

we must be doing something wrong at the customization... hope one of the experienced guys can help us cuz there is no tech assist in my town.
Is it possible that the date/time config or the theme I was using may have caused this? or my operator need something else?

Ok I did it. when i turned on the phone, i see an error message about incorrect settings, So i checked the status >**
THen using FAR and navigating to fs/tpa/system/custom i copied the contents of the drm folder to my disk drive, copied the contents of the complete archive to the phone and recopied te drm folder back to the phome. I restarted the phone and viola, I already have a w800i. Thanks darkman for the program.

Hope this helps.

Ah I have a problem.

I've done everything right: installed the USB flash plugin, connected my phone whilst holding the C key, seeing two folder FS and Flash after I release the C key but there is nothing in those folders, niet except for a "coming soon" thing in the Flash folder -- nothing in the FS folder though?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you tried erasing the drm folder first before copying the contents of complete.rar to w800 directory? THats what I did. After copying those files from the archive, I recopied the drm folder back to its original location. If i didn't do that, all the contents of the archive just goes directly to the drm folder and I get the same error as you.

I also noticed that there are no Java Certificates on the phone, Just trusted Certificates. How can I add Java certificates tothe phone. Thanks.
