Sorry if this has already been mentioned but below the dedicated camera button on the side of the W890i appears to be a LED, whats this one for?

not sure... it doesn't get a mention in the user guide though it is actually pictured.

I've seen it called a service led but have yet to see it illuminate and certainly doing the LED test in the service menu doesn't light it on mine

I originally hoped it would be like the led on the bottom of the P1 where it flashes for missed calls/texts etc but that doesn't seem to be the case

The LED lights up when you connect it to a PC.

No, this led lights up when your battery is completly discharged and that you plug in the charger. Since the screen won't turn on immediatly (not enough battery) this led indicates you that it's really charging.

Hey guys...I downloaded some themes from the URL below for my W890i.
http://www.sethpo.de/Original-SE-Themes.html

But some of the flash themes of other models like C902, C702 don't seem to work in W890i. The flash based grid menu doesn't come up. Only the normal SE grid menu comes up. But the rest of the theme part is OK.

I copied a theme folder called Crystal Line(of C702 model) into the Themes folder on my phone memory. The Crystal Line theme folder contained 3 files. One is .thm file, Second is a Standby screen file and the last is the Desktop file. I suppose this desktop file, which is a Shockwave flash object, is for flash based grid menu. But the flash grid menu doesn't come up.

Any body knows why this happens?

The menu file needs to be copied in a certain system folder, which is currently inacccessible, because the A200 OS is still not supported by XS++ (a program used for flashing).

Yeah.. w890, k850, etc uses 4.6 theme ver.
while w760, c702, etc uses 4.7 theme ver. that support different desktop view like rotating, single, grid, beside original based flash desktop.. And afaik it's built in..
