Has there ever been a Sony phone that has done the GSM arena endurance test and outlasted anybody else? I don't think so. Sony phones do well in real world usage but they can't create energy out of nothing. A bigger battery is a must at some point and with other oems going big, Sony is really limiting themselves with a battery almost half the size of others while promoting their camera ability. We all know using the camera a lot will drain the battery really quickly.

1 scores same of s10. Despite having 2 million pixels more.
10+ does 78 or 79h.
That Motorola with 6.5" 21:9 has more battery and did worse.
XA2U and 2+ do more than 100h.
Both 3580mAh.
Not even counting the compacts.

5 is not the flagship. if your flagship isn't your top performer, then it's a handicap. it needs to be the best of the series in all areas that matter.

If it is not flagship, then it would be midrange.
It is like saying Z5, XZ1, X3 are not flagship.
