As you all know i am a trusted and respected trader on here but ive encountered a problem! as you all know 6630 was sellin a 6630 and i agreed to swap for my d500 but i made him send first. he said it was boxed etc but when i opened the package it was a lg u8120 box with fake charger and data cable ALSO THE PHONE IS BLOCKED! what do i do? im not paying postage.

you should contact the guy and find out whats going on and if no satisfactory answer simply send it back by the cheapest means possible.
you will be no better than him if you attempt to keep it, even if he wont pay the return postage.
best to do the right thing in all cases and keep your integrity, even if it costs a couple of pounds or whatever

Yes, dont keep hold of the phone. Once finished you can report him (if he is an esato member) and make people aware of dealings with him.

Soooooo glad I never swapped my D500 for his supposidly 6630 - tbh he did mention to me it was boxed but not the original one.
I'd just send it back and have done with it.
At least you got him to send first - imagine how you would feel if you sent your d500 at the same time.

One thing I'd suggest is to at least send the phone back to him recorded delivery, or he could claim that he never recieved his phone back and demand you send him either your phone or payment. I presume btw you haven't sent him anything yet?
