> K750i bluetooth connection lost
Bookmark topic
Hi,
I have been experiencing a lot of problems with the K750i and BT headsets and car kit.
It seems that the K750i looses the connection to the headsets very frequently without any reason.
In addition, I was not able to pair the K750i with Motorola headsets or Nokia's.
Anyone aware of this?
Thanks!
TG

Have you updated to the latest firmware? I had alot of trouble with my bt headset with the initial firmware, all solved by upgrading.

I'm having the same issue with all three of my K750i's (all R1L002, i.e. the latest firmware) and a number of HBH-662 bluetooth headsets.
I have a P910i to compare against the K750i's and it (the P910i) hasn't dropped the BT connection to the headset for 4 days. Each of the K750i's drop the connection within 6 hours and they switch from the "Port.handsfree" profile back to the "Normal" profile. Even switching back to the handsfree profile (whilst BT is switched on) none of the K750i's will re-connect to the headset. Nor will turning off & on the headset will get it to reconnect.
Only turning off BT on the K750i or going to My Devices and selecting HBH-662 & connect will reconnect.
BTW, I have three seperate HBH-662 headsets too; one for each phone. Only the headset paired to the relevant phone is switched on, and only BT on that phone is on at any time. No wifi is on within 4 metres of the phones. No other BT is on from any other device locally.
The issue doesn't occur with a spare HBH-660 headset I've got available.
Also - I've got 1,000 K750i's and HBH-662's to hand out from Monday so this is more than a slight issue just for me! I've asked SE UK and I'm awaiting an answer. Anyone else have BT connections being dropped for no reason with K750i's ???

I have the same problem with K750i and HBH-662. However, as long as both devices are on, the incoming call will go through the headset (they reconnect) which are the important for me.
If one uses the headset-profile for something special, then I can understand that it is enoying...

You're right Gud, incoming calls still get transferred to the HBH-662 headset. Its just bloody annoying that when I push the headset button I can't voice-dial without re-connecting the phone.

I've just kept one of my K750i's connected to a HBH-662. After connecting, I left the phone and headset side by side in front of me; just after posting my first comment in this thread.
Five minutes ago the phone flashed up on the screen "HBH-662 disconnected". Neither device had battery issues. BT on the K750i was set to Powersave OFF.
I had to manually reconnect the headset via the BT devices menu. Bugger this!

I have the same issue. I have bang up to date K750i and I have a built in factory fitted bluetooth in my new car. The phone pairs fine and connects, but repeatly disconnects and then re-connects, every 5 or 10 mins.
I know it ain't the car, as I have a P910, Nokia 8800 and a Moto V3 which are all perfect on it.
Its bloody annoying, I actually lke the K750 as the phone to use for work, but I have to use one of the others as, I don't want points on my licence for using my phone in the car non-handsfree.
