So ... My P910i CDA Version is R3A02 ... i was thinking about upgrading it to R5A02... what are your thoughts mates?
Plus, i wanted to backup my SMS/MMS messages and my contact list...but only that, is it possible? i don't want to make a full backup and then restore... cause if i do that... i will put the "trash" (files left by programs already uninstalled long time ago) again on the phone...

so... any thoughts?

and btw... where the hell do i update the p910i Fware?

thankx

edit: ... Sony Ericsson Update Service doesn't even work for me.

Update service not working for you....Maybe you should take it to a service centre

@cobrain

This is what I found:

Contacts are in: c:\system\data\contacts\contacts.cdb
Agenda is in: C:\Documents\Agenda\Agenda
Messages are in: C:\System\Mail (note: to overwrite the index you must access the file system with File Manager after a backup when the phone asks: on, off, flightmode)
Bookmarks are in: C:\system\apps\browser\folders\Bookmarks
Opera Bookmarks are in: C\system\data\bookmarks
Jotter in: C:\documents\JOTTER

Good luck!!

thanks lau... i already backup up all i want.
i just hope copying the "mail" folder will work after the firmware update.

now... is anyone having problems with the update?

i went to the website... i checked the 5 boxes (even though my mobile battery isn't full) and... i click next... and nothing happens.

anyone...knows why?

is the firmware update a file?so that someone can send me?

thanks.

What you need is the Java from SUN.
The M$ Java sometimes doesn't work.
