Hi,
I can buy a phone from second hand, it´s an old Ericsson T68 but I´m very sure about the origin of the phone, it can be stolen for example and I´d like to know what happen if I send it to any Sony Ericsson Technical Service, Can they know that it´s being stolen while they try to upgrade the software? they keep the phone and make me the responsible of that. Also I would like to know if there is anyway to know if the phone I´m trying to buy is it legal or not, there is a data base with the IMEI number to check? Can I phone any Tehcnical Service or Ericsson to know that. Finally the phone I´d like to buy comes from UK but I would like to use the phone in Spain, if I will make my software upgrade in Spain then the telephone would be in Spanish language and also the T9.
I hope anyone working in a Technical Service can help me.
