> Help buying a Graphic Card
Bookmark topic
Since im having problems with my radeon 9200 im going to buy a new graphic card.
My options are:
Radeon X800/X850
Radeon X700
Nvidia Gforce 6800
Nvidia Gforce 7800
I need something that i could use for 1 year minimun to play games like Age of Empires III, Call of Duty 2 and all those incomming titles
By considering
Price/Performance what would be the best choice?

Yeah ! Geforce is meaty enough.. VFM would be nVidia7.. But then gamers dont look at Value For Money as much as Performance :D

ram and processor is important too. i couldn't run ut2004 at full settings when i had my old config (athlon xp 1600+, 256 mb ddr ram, gainward geforce fx 5700 ultra goldensample 128mb) now it can run full settings no sweat (athlon xp 2800+ 1.25 gb ram, gainward geforce fx 5700 ultra goldensample 128mb) 32 bit processors, and AGP is going out. 64 bit processors and PCI-express 16x are coming in!

You said you're poor at the moment but had the Geforce 7800 on the list. Currently the 7800 is the king of the hill.

Considering the value for money ,id say x850. but i must say 7800 is the best performing one. And if u can wait or hold off for a month,i think u will see some surprices from ati (r520 and rv515

) and u wont regret that u have waited ,im sure .
